Emma Badgett Orsini
July 10, 1919 - August 08, 2012
Emma Badgett Orsini, age 93, passed away under Savannah Hospice care on August 8th.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Sebastian J. Poppa Orsini and five children: Carmela O. Harmon; Phil and w Caroline Orsini; Margie and h Mike Kelly; Mike and w Debbie Orsini; and Tony and w Susan Orsini; and numerous grand, great, and great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, the Daughters of Ireland, the Optimist Club Auxiliary; American Legion Post 154 Auxiliary; The Islanders Club; The Electric Co. Ladies; and the Italian Cousins Club.
Friends will be received a half hour before the 10 AM service, Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

We all have such fond memories of the neighborhood...Orsini,McNair,Suhrer,Cullinan,Shaw,McCullough,Murdock,Langston,Horton/Campbells,Dexter.So many wonderful memories of Mr. and Mrs. Orsini...Loading 7 Frommer kids in the station wagon to go to the Coca Cola plant to buy cases of soda from Mrs. Orsini...Santa AKA Mr. Orsini ringing our doorbell on Christmas Eve with treats.Before Mom passed away, she was thrilled that she got to visit Mr. Orsini at Mikes house in Aiken. What a treasured friendship Paul,Ruth, Emma and Tony had!Please accept our condolences in the loss of your exceptional wife/mother/grandmother.
